Stories

  • "Very few times in my career has there been what I consider a prodigy come across my path. Alan, from day one, has demonstrated class and uber musicianship in all our musical endeavors. His ear and attention to detail are true blessings. Looking for great things to come from this young man."

Jason Latshaw (Freelance Producer and Engineer)

  • “Alan has impressed me with his ability since I first heard his name. I originally only knew that he was an incredible guitarist.. I came to learn that his musicianship extends much beyond the guitar, and reaches many other instruments along with his huge gift and passion for sound engineering. Alan is very detail oriented, and this is a great thing, as it shows his work ethic and drive to do everything with care and integrity. He consistently amazes me with his creativity, and his ear for things I would never pick up on or think of. Beyond his skills in music, he is an amazing friend and his love for the Lord is so evident in his daily life. From the way he cares for his craft, to the way he treats people, he lives a life of worship, and does everything in his ability to bring glory to the One who truly matters. He also makes the best potato salad imaginable, along with any other healthy treat you can think of. Alan Goodwin is such a fantastic guy and musician, and I'm blessed to know him.”

Josh Rosonet (Campus Worship Pastor at PineLake Starkville, Artist, and Bass Player for the Bethany Barr-Phillips Band)

  • "I have had the pleasure of working with Alan over the last almost 20 years. From church, to camps, to the studio, I have seen his talent grow beyond what some in the business take years to achieve. He has grown into a man of God and I always look forward to the days we get to work together. I have learned much from him over the years and I hope to continue to do so."

Jonathan Gardner (Artist and Worship Leader at SouthPoint Church)

  • “I have had the pleasure to work with Alan on several projects recently. He is truly an amazingly talented musician, engineer, and creative! As a player, as an engineer, as a person, Alan brings high levels of ability, passion, and professionalism to whatever he is doing. It has been a joy to be able to work with him. We are looking forward to him being a part of future LifePoint projects.”

Comma Worship Solutions is owned and operated by Alan and Harmony Goodwin. Alan offers 24 years of experience in the music industry (serving as a worship pastor, music director, production director, instrumentalist, and vocalist on staff and as a volunteer at various churches/ministries, as well as performing and leading for Christian events of all types and sizes across the world) and 20 years of experience in the recording industry (including professional training in the Nashville music/recording industry and an audio production college degree with minors in jazz and entertainment technology) to serve his clients with their needs. Bridging the often-overlooked gap between music and production is Alan’s passion, as he strives to advance both sides of the coin to their full capacity of excellence.

Harmony offers 10 years of experience in ministry and the music industry (serving as a contemporary worship director and vocalist on staff and as a volunteer at various churches/ministries, as well as performing and leading for Christian events of all types and sizes across the world, utilizing her degree in music and worship with a vocal performance focus from Liberty University). Harmony truly completes Alan’s skillset by offering talent and perspective less on the brain (a nice word for “nerd”) side, and more on the heart side, which is what relates to people most anyway. Together, Alan and Harmony form a dedicated team that desires to use musical storytelling to make a difference in the lives of others.
